For decades, fascia — the continuous web of connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, organ, nerve, and bone in your body — was dismissed as mere packaging. Modern research has completely overturned that view.
A landmark 2024 study published in Frontiers in Neurology described fascia as a potential “watchman” of whole-body health — a highly innervated system rich with blood vessels, lymphatics, and receptors for hormones including serotonin, dopamine, cortisol, oxytocin, and adrenaline. Far from passive packaging, fascia actively regulates posture, immune response, hormonal secretion, pain perception, and even emotional tone.
This matters profoundly for healing. When the body endures sustained stress or trauma, the nervous system enters survival states — what we call fight, flight, or freeze. Research in somatic neuroscience shows that this chronic activation causes fascia to thicken and lose elasticity, restricts breath, distorts posture, and generates the sensation of persistent pain. 1. Foundation: safety and self-awareness (weeks 1–3)

2. In-person immersion days (day 1 & 2)
Two full days of hands-on practice with Mario and a small cohort of 12–16 participants. Day 1 covers emotional release techniques, posture, energy flow, and touch fundamentals. Day 2 goes deeper — feet to head, fascia manipulation, nervous system regulation in real time, and holding space for others. This is practice all day, not theory.
3. Integration and embodiment (weeks 4–12)
Bi-weekly live Zoom calls guide you through applying what you’ve learned — in your own body first, then with others. The global community group provides real-time support. This is where the embodiment deepens from intellectual understanding into lived, felt change.
4. Outcomes: the shift that stays

The 90-day program combines both formats. The core online component includes 80+ guided classes you work through at your own pace, plus bi-weekly live Zoom calls with Mario and your cohort. Woven into the 90 days are two full in-person immersion days — intensive, hands-on sessions where you practice the Body Awakening techniques in real time under direct supervision. Both components are essential: the online work builds understanding and safe foundations, while the in-person days create the embodied, felt shift that can't happen through a screen alone.
No prior experience is needed for the healing path. The 90-day program is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Beginners receive foundational instruction starting from the most basic body awareness and breath practices, while experienced practitioners use the program to deepen their existing skills and add a complete somatic system to their work. What matters is not your background — it is your willingness to step into your body and walk the process.
Most trainings teach information. The Body Awakening 90-day program trains the body itself. The key difference is that you don't just learn techniques to apply to clients — you go through the process yourself first. Your own liberation becomes your credential. Talk therapy works primarily with the cognitive mind — it can create insight, but it doesn't always reach the body where trauma and chronic tension are physically stored.
