The science behind fascia, the nervous system & somatic healing

For decades, fascia — the continuous web of connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, organ, nerve, and bone in your body — was dismissed as mere packaging. Modern research has completely overturned that view.

A landmark 2024 study published in Frontiers in Neurology described fascia as a potential “watchman” of whole-body health — a highly innervated system rich with blood vessels, lymphatics, and receptors for hormones including serotonin, dopamine, cortisol, oxytocin, and adrenaline. Far from passive packaging, fascia actively regulates posture, immune response, hormonal secretion, pain perception, and even emotional tone.

2. In-person immersion days (day 1 & 2)

Two full days of hands-on practice with Mario and a small cohort of 12–16 participants. Day 1 covers emotional release techniques, posture, energy flow, and touch fundamentals. Day 2 goes deeper — feet to head, fascia manipulation, nervous system regulation in real time, and holding space for others. This is practice all day, not theory.

3. Integration and embodiment (weeks 4–12)

Bi-weekly live Zoom calls guide you through applying what you’ve learned — in your own body first, then with others. The global community group provides real-time support. This is where the embodiment deepens from intellectual understanding into lived, felt change.
